Meet the team
CDTTY's Executive Board is made up of 9 high school students between 10th and 12th grade. Together, CDTTY's Executive Board works to plan, advertise, and execute CDTTY events. The executive board also works to help CDTTY grow and prosper as a youth group in NFTY-SAR. Our board consists of the president, and the following vice presidents: Programming VP (PVP), Social Action VP (SAVP), Religious and Cultural VP (RCVP), Communications VP (CVP), Membership VP (MVP), Financial VP (FVP), Junior Temple Youth VP (JVP), and Member at Large. The above people are a part of CDTTY's Executive Board for the 2018-2019 year.
Hey everyone! My name is Sam Latzsch, and I'm the youth group advisor for CDTTY for the 2018-2019 school year. I am a fourth-year pre-med student at the University Georgia. I am active in Greek life as well as co-founder of a student organization, Karma Coffee. I also teach the ninth grade class of the Derech Tamid program. I also work with the b'nai mitzvah students in the CDTeens Program.
During my time in high school, I was a madrich in the religious school at Dor Tamid, and I enjoyed attending CDTTY and NFTY-SAR events. My senior year, I helped develop the Junior Vice President position on CDTTY's board in order to expand the junior youth group, JDTTY.
I am proud to have the opportunity to serve as CDTTY's Advisor. My mission is to engage our teens in the Jewish community by building friendships, developing leaders, and providing thoughtful programming. Our teens will be able to sustain these skills after high school and throughout their lives as wholesome, Jewish adults.
